Event Results
Saturday April 28, 2007- Congratulations to all who competed in the breaking
tournament. Great Job to all that placed. Special thanks to the staff.
Saturday April 28, 2007- Ed Unkel KO’S Jason Somers in the 1st round of his
MMA debut. Keith Peterson dominates Samad Mobley to win an unanimous
decision with his flashly and effective ground and pound. Derrick Strong puts
up a good battle against Jesse Briggs.
New School for Kempo Alliance- American Academy of Self Defense opens
up their second location in West Islip. Congratulations Guys!!!
New Ranks in April- Adults-Sean Caldwell from the Adult class earned his
Orange belt.
Kids - Adam F., Sean P., Chadd M., Jevon E, John C., Jack F., Gernelle F.,
Racheal M., Stephen G., Anthony R., Myaysa E., Daniel S. and Jessica B., all
earned their yellow belts. Kayla Q. earned her blue belt.

Upcoming events:
May 20, 2007- CPR Course at the new West Islip location. Cost will be $75
and will start at 10am. Ask Master Tom for more information.
June 9, 2007 - Bellmore's Bobby Campbell vs Argenis Mendez, 6 rounds Pro
Boxing.
JUNE 9, 2007 live on HBO PAY VER VIEW at MADISON SQUARE
GARDEN.
Bobby Campbell will take on undefeated Olympian Argenis Mendez ,on the
Zab Judah vs Miguel Cotto undercard. Bobby's bout will be the first televised
fight of the night on PAY PER VIEW.
